- remove pot from hob
- in tempering pan with high heat (7-8), add
- 1 spoon ghee
- 1/4 spoon heeng (asafoetida)
- 1/2 spoon mustard seeds
- when foaming and crackling, add 1-2 dry red chillies
- about 10s later add curry leaves
- add contents to main pot and cover
