- finely chop 2 onions
- in a wok add oil/ghee
- add
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cloves
- 3 cardamom
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 green chillies
- 5-6 garlic cloves (smashed or chopped)
- fry for a few minutes
- add onions and fry until light golden
- add few chopped mint leaves, fry for a few minutes
- add
- 2 cups washed rice
- 4 cups water
- 2 spoons salt
- 2 spoons ghee
- pour into rice cooker and cook
