- in a wok, heat a spoonful of oil
- add
- 1 spoon jeera (cumin seeds)
- 1 spoon coriander seeds
- 4 dry red chillies
- small piece of tamarind
- fry for a few minutes
- add
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 large / 2 small roughly chopped onion(s)
- fry until onion turns translucent
- add 3 roughly chopped tomatoes
- fry for a few minutes (until tomatoes mushy)
- add salt to taste
- transfer into blender and blend
